My Fair Lady

Joanna played Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. She won the 2003 Olivier for 'Best Actress in a Musical'

Now Alex Jennings and Joanna Riding have replaced Jonathan Pryce and McCutcheon as Higgins and Eliza, and both are absolutely splendid. Riding is a wonderfully touching and funny Eliza, equally confident whether playing common or posh, blessed with a voice of soaring beauty, and movingly showing how Eliza's education comes within an ace of destroying everything that made her special in the first place.
